To me the legal OCA status looks fine. The OCA lacks active people devoted to promoting chess on the provincial level.

I'm quite leery of your plan - It's not clear to me what problem it's trying to solve, and the casual brushing aside of concerns especially regarding potential problems doesn't look at all good to me.

However, since it's not going to affect me at all and since nobody else seems to care, I'll rest my case.

I'll allow 24 hours for any further nominations before declaring nominations closed and proceeding to voting if needed.

Default Shouldn't we finish the Meeting?

    Chris,
24 hours already passed, in fact, 60 hours already passed...

No any other nominations, no need to vote.
Could you please declare Ilia Bluvshtein a new OCA President by acclamation and ask him to chair the Meeting?
    It's dragging too long...

    Chris,
    24 hours passed long ago...
In fact, the whole week already passed, and little more - 180 hours...

If you're still alive, please declare Ilia Bluvshtein a new OCA President by acclamation and let him to finish the Meeting.
    Thanks,

    And what's next? I'm curious!

I think this "meeting" has been a good example of how little use the OCA is. Unless Chris Mallon is incapacitated, in which case, my apologies.

Probably time to move on and use this one:

"b) Vice-Presidents: Each regional affiliate elects a regional Vice-President. The Vice-Presidents ensure communication between their respective affiliates and the OCA Executive. The Vice-President must be a governor.

The Executive will choose one regional vice president to be the Executive Vice president. The Executive Vice-President shall, in the absence or disability of the President, perform the duties and exercise the powers of the President and shall perform such other duties as shall from time to time be delegated to him by the Board or by the President."

Though, it could be that the Executive Vice president has been never chosen.
