    Default 16) CFC Governors

    The calculations for Governors follow.
Please note that CFC and OCA Governor positions are linked; if you are one, you are the other, with the exception of the OCA President who is an OCA Governor-at-large not representing a specific league and not guaranteed a CFC Governor spot (more on that later).

    GTCL
    242 * 0.4
    18 * 0.5
    (28 + 70 + 239) * 1

    = 442.8 = 8 Governors +0.856

    SWOCL
    65 * 0.4
    5 * 0.5
    (6 + 42 + 117)

    = 193.5 = 3 Governors +0.87

    EOCA
    34 * 0.4
    2 * 0.5
    (4 + 55 + 79)

    = 152.6 = 3 Governors +0.052

    NOCL
    23 * 0.4
    + 13 + 19
    = 41.2 = 1 Governor -0.176 (+0.824 second run)

That's 15 Governors. The OCA gets 19 Governors this year.
Add 1 each to GTCL, SWOCL and EOCA. NOCL is already rounding up.
That leaves one extra Governor which by the rules should be awarded to SWOCL but I suggest we could choose to give that CFC Governor spot to the OCA President for next year (there is past precedent for this).

League Reps please post your Governors for the upcoming year.

I have a nice PDF that explains theses calculations, but alas, how do I post it here?

I just may have figured it out.

When making a post, "Go Advanced" and then "manage attachments"

The CFC will need email contact information and probably mailing addresses for all voting members under the NFP act.

    Chris,

If one extra Governor should be awarded to SWOCL by rules, I would suggest to follow the rules and give the spot to SWOCL.
    Just curious...What are these rules?

The rule is that any extra spots are awarded in order of the league's partial amounts, which are the amounts listed as +0.xxx after each allotment.
Our formula is different than the CFC formula which is why we have so many partial awards. I proposed changing it to match a few years ago but that was shot down.

Maybe it's time to revive this idea?
    Thanks,

Okay, so the governor allocation is:

    GTCL 9
    SWOCL 5
    EOCA 4
    NOCL 1
    Total 19

Exactly the same as it is now.
    Okay?

SWOCL have selected 4 governors so far in our slow as molasses AGM.
