The CFC Regular Chess Post – June 14/13C – CFC Annual General Meeting.

The AGM meeting will begin on Monday, June 17th and end on Sunday, June 30th.

Any motions involving the 2012/2013 Financial Report or 2013/2014 will not be voted on until June 26th, 21 days after the annual financial statements became public. We feel this in the spirit of the Not for Profit Regulations, which appear to be describing a single day AGM.

An e-mail has been circulated to the complete list of outgoing and incoming CFC Governors (with the Agenda attached?).

The CFC Annual General Meeting will be conducted at a special forum [on the CFC Discussion Forums - http://www.chesscanada.info/forum/fo...-Public-Forums ]. This will be open to viewing by all.

CFC Members are allowed to address the meeting via any of the CFC Governors (who have read and write access to the meeting). [Bob – members may also try posting messages for the meeting on the CFC members’ Chess Chat Forum, and hopefully some governors will be checking the board during the meeting and relaying them to the meeting as well – but this is not for sure, and it is best to speak to your local governor].

The meeting is broken into two sub-forums:
1. Outgoing Board of Directors
2. Incoming Board of Directors
The meetings take place more or less concurrently.
