The CFC Regular Chess Post – May 3/13 – CFC Website Upgrade.

The CFC on May 1 upgraded its website, by replacing the home page “Latest News” column with an on-line, Canadian Chess Newsfeed. Manning the newsfeed, in concert with the new Canadian Chess News editor, John Upper, is the McGill Chess Club (committee headed by Quebec CFC Governor, Felix Dumont). Felix has described the newsfeed as follows:

[It is ] a sub-site (still hosted by chess.ca) that will host the newsfeed. We have several collaborators and the content should be pretty diversified… It will feature numerous kinds of articles (analysis, tournaments highlights and adverts, etc..). For tournament announcements and reports, we will need some help from organizers. To add a tournament to the newsfeed, we need some kind of advert or flyer (this one can be copy/pasted from your website) before the tournament. We can also publish a follow-up Chessbase-like report, if you send us results, pictures, comments on the tournament or even interesting games. We believe that such a report could not only be very interesting for sponsors, but could also interest lots of chess players that might want to participate in the next tournaments.

So for a detailed, ongoing, on-line presentation of Canadian Chess, check out the Canadian Chess Newsfeed: http://chess.ca/newsfeed/
