For the benefit of new Governors, discussion is allowed in the 'for discussion' threads once voting begins but no discussion of any sort other than of a technical nature is allowed in any of "The Voting Booth" threads.

I strenuously object to the appeal motion being dealt with in camera.

It was a private meeting, a privately held discussion and a privately held vote, so I have no (additional) problem with the appeal also being private.

On another note, that is a LOT of motions to consider. It would be nice in the future if the Governors could receive the text of all motions say a week ahead of time... not for any procedural reason, but to give us a chance to digest them and consider.

An item that should be added to the agenda for all future meetings:

Local reports. Each governor should post a good-news story from their area. It will add some positivity and perhaps some levity to the meetings, and also help keep people informed of what it happening across Canada.
