    Default Administrative Details

    For the benefit of Governors, it is MUCH easier to ensure the security of the forum for a meeting when organized as a sub-forum (like this one was) than as a separate forum (the way previous Quarterly meetings have been)

    Basically with the 'sub-forum' you use the permissions of the 'Master Forum' (in this case CFC Governors Discussion) and add in the 'not logged in' user group to allow read but not posting access.

    Given some of the security-related problems we've had with previous Quarterly meetings this is something I'd like to see continue unless someone makes a strong argument to the contrary

    That's a minor technical issue Lyle and hardly a good reason to affect a potential policy.

    In any case, in addition to copying permissions of the master forum, you can also copy them from any other existing forum - such as a previous meeting (such as the AGM).
