    I don't see the zag part. The move Ken suggested leads to mate in 3 so it must be correct.

    Vg4 is incorrect.

    1. Vg4+ Kb8
    2. Vb4+ Bb6 ...

    While White has a tremendous advantage, find the fastest way to win, and it is a bang-bang-bang. (FYI: Black can not castle on a King's side.)
