Default 2011 CYCC - New Record

Seems to me that the YCC system has proven itself viable in its initial year, despite the inaction of some provincial affiliates ( I believe the 5 year average for CYCC's has been about 160 ). Larry Bevand seems to have checked the historical records, and he says the organizers have set a new record already for CYCC attendance, assuming all pre-registereds show up. Congratulations to the Richmond Hill Organizing Committee !

For next year, there must be more interaction by CFC with these absentee provincial affiliates to try to support them in holding a YCC.

Also, it seems that many juniors have played across the country in the YCC system, more than the total playing under the previous " open " system.

Do we know the provenance of most of these juniors? ie. is it overwhelmingly Ontario.
