    Hi Michael,

Beatriz should not charge an entry fee to designated players in my humble opinion.

The Chess'n Math Association will decide by April 5th, 2011 if we will be supporting this event by helping out with transportation of Canadians from Montreal and Toronto....or if we will invest these dollars more locally.

    Hi Larry,

I would like to thank you once more for well organized and ran North American Youth Championship last year in Montreal!

Yes, I would love to see our designated players to play in 2011 North American Youth Championship without any entry fee as well.
Unfortunately, even World Youth Championship organizers charge an entry fee to all players.
It's beyond our control to change this practice.
Usually CFC pays this entry fee for WYCC official players from the Youth Program funds raised at the CYCC.

We all appreciate Chess'n Math Association's support for junior chess in Canada!
Hopefully, it will make the right decision and this time...
    Thanks,
    Michael Barron

We wish a good time and great results to the Canadian players who will be taking part in this event!

The CMA will not be taking part financially to the Cannadian contingent this year.

For the record...when CMA organized the NAYCC last year, we provided free entry AND $200 towards lodging for designated players from all countries. Beatriz and others are capable of doing the same...it is simply a question of wanna ...we were even abused by a Montrealer who claimed $200 for lodging...when the person was living in Montreal...ohh well...taken advantage of us once...shame on you...taken of advantage of us twice...shame on us
