    Default Motion for vote 2011-04 (Governors at Large)

    Here is the text of motion 2011-04. Please note that this motion is dependent on the passage of 2011-03 thus you should only vote YES for this motion if you vote YES to 2011-03 and should otherwise vote NO.

    Motion 2010-04 - Creating Non-Voting Governors at Large

    Moved: Governor Bob Armstrong Seconded: Governor Paul Leblanc

    There shall be added to Bylaw 2, if Motion # 2010-03 is passed, the following new Section 6A:

    “ 6A. NON-VOTING GOVERNORS AT LARGE

    The following shall be known as non-voting Governors at large:

    the past Presidents of the Federation who have served as President for at least two full terms prior to July 1, 2009. A term is that period between one annual meeting and the next.

    And

    the past Presidents who have been granted the life title of Governor at Large as at September 1994.

    They shall have all governor rights, except the right to vote. They shall cease being governors on July 1, 2019. “

    I don't think this motion makes sense now that we have the amended motion and not the original motion

    Hi Fred:

    I agree. Before I left as Posting Secretary, I had advised Bob G and Lyle that if Motion 2010-03 got amended, then Motion 2010-04 would be out of order, and should not proceed.

    I agree. This motion should not have been posted for voting after 2011-03 was amended. It no longer makes sense.

    Lyle, please discontinue voting on 2011-04. Consider it "out of order".
