I am fine with this not being voted on - it seems too rushed to me as well.

If this motion were to go to a vote I would be voting no for the reasons Bob lists.

One of my reservations in the motion establishing the online meeting is that it has the tendency to take the decision to send a motion to vote out of the hands of the president as nearly happened here.
