CFC membership dues & rating fees

From comments received and personal observation, I see that we haven’t done a particularly good job at communicating our current membership fee structure. So, before the discussion goes any further on proposed changes, let’s be certain we all understand the current fee structure.

Family memberships are available for family members of adult members at 50% of adult rate for each family member.

Single tournament memberships – adult $ 10, Junior $ 5. Provincial portion of dues are $ 4 and $ 2 respectively.

Rating fees – $ 3 per player.

Junior tournaments – Where all players are juniors, membership dues are not required and rating fees are $ .50 per player.

This is the current fee structure and has been in effect for several years.

The motion passed at the AGM calls for changes effective January 1, 2009. As well, further proposals are being debated.
