For clubs & groups in the Greater Toronto Chess League's area, the GTCL and Willowdale Chess Club will be hosting the 2020 Greater Toronto Chess League (Team) Championship. To enter a team in the tournament, see:

By Dec 31, register your team by submitting the form at this LINK. Maximum 12 teams so register asap.
By Jan 13, 24 hours before the first round, you can make changes to your roster of players.

WHAT:

A Greater Toronto Chess League & Willowdale CC event.
CFC-rated single Round-Robin tournament of TEAMS
Maximum 11 rounds (if 12 teams register).
Time Control: 60 mins + 10 secs/move. A faster pace since the room must be vacated by 10pm.
Equipment: Each team must bring at least TWO chess clocks. Chess sets and score-sheets will be provided.
Important: Read the RULES.

WHO:

First 12 teams registered may enter.
Teams from any GTCL club, organization, or group.
Teams consist of a minimum of 4 players with any number of substitute players.
Players must have CFC memberships that expire after March 24, 2020.

WHEN:

TIMES: Rounds start at 7:00pm on Tuesdays (1 rounder per week)
DATES: maximum 11 weeks (if 12 teams):
January 14, 21, 28
February 4, 11, 18, 25
March 3, 10, 17, 24
