CFC Quick Ratings - special update

The weekly rating update (regular and quick) for today is done.
We are scheduling a special rating update for quick ratings (active) for tomorrow.
We did this a few years ago.

The idea is that over time the differential between regular and active ratings for many players goes wider due to the fact many players do not play in active tournaments on a regular basis. So ever so often we want to update the quick ratings to bring them more in line with the players actual playing strength.

The update program is ready to go (after some testing) tomorrow.
If all goes well, great. And we'll supply further explanation then.

For TD planning an active tournament this weekend, you may want to wait a day for the update.
