Toronto Women's Chess Championship 2017

Dear chess friends,

I would like to invite all eligible players to participate in Toronto Women's Chess Championship 2017.

This will be an eight player round-robin tournament comprised of the eight highest rated players who apply.
The deadline for entries will be 9pm Tuesday, October 10 at the Willowdale Chess Club (131 Finch St. W, at Edithvale Community Centre), where the draw for positions will take
place.
A reserve section will be available if 6 or more additional players enter.
The event will be CFC rated, and the rating fees will be paid by the GTCL.
CFC membership is required.

Schedule: Games will be played on consecutive Tuesdays at 7 pm at the Willowdale Chess Club (Edithvale Community Centre near Yonge and Finch intersection) starting from October 17.
Time control: 60 minutes for the game with 10 seconds increment from the first move.
Entry fee: $60 payable by 9pm, October 10.

PRIZES:
Championship - 1 st - $200 & Trophy
2nd - $100
3rd - $ 60
Reserve section - 75% of entry fees.

Chess sets and boards are provided by the Willowdale Chess Club.
Please bring your chess clock.
