New Brunswick Day Tornado- Fredericton, NB, August 4th
There is a one day CFC-rated tournament coming up on Saturday, August 4th (the New Brunswick Day weekend), so if you're around the provincial capital, try to stop on by for a fun day of chess! Details are as follows:

Regular and late entry fees are all collected on-site day of the event
Check-In/Registration: Sat 8:45am - 9:15am
Entry Fee for pre-registered players: $20
Late Entry (no pre-registration): $5 extra
Chess Federation of Canada (CFC):
All players must be (or become) a member of the CFC or pay a CFC Tournament Fee
1) CFC Annual Membership (NB) - includes a subscription to the monthly Canadian Chess News magazine (PDF Format) and eligibility for any CFC rated events for one year: Adult - $46, Junior (U20) - $30
2) CFC Tournament Fee (NB) - allows entry to this one CFC tournament: Adult - $20, Junior (U20) - $10
3) CFC Membership Rates and Tournament Fees for other provinces
Format: 4 Round Swiss (Pairings will be accelerated if 28 or more players)
Schedule (approx.): 9:30am, 11:30am, 2:30pm; 4:30pm
Time Control: Sudden death in 60 min
Prize Fund: Based on entries
