FIDE has postponed the WYCC 2020 by today's decision.
This shall come as no surprise to Canadian players and parents, given the pandemic-related restrictions. I would also remind you that several large national federations, including the USCF, have already decided that no youth chess teams would be sent to a competition outside of their respective countries until at least 2020-12-31.
