Dear Chess Friends,

The Canadian Youth Chess Championship will take place in Windsor, Ontario, July 6 - 9, 2010:

This Championship is a qualifier for all International Youth competitions:
The winner in each section gets the right to be the official player at World Youth Chess Championship,
2nd place - at Pan American Youth Chess Championship,
3rd place - at North American Youth Chess Championship.

World Youth Chess Championship will take place in Porto Carras, Halkidiki, Greece, October 19 - 31, 2010:

Pan American Youth Chess Championship will take place in Bento Gonçalves, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, August 1 - 8, 2010:

North American Youth Chess Championship will take place in Montreal, Quebec, August 16 - 19, 2010:

Please let me know before the end of June, if you're willing to represent Canada at one of these International Youth competitions.

The players should confirm their participation:

at Pan American Youth Chess Championship - by July 9,

at North American Youth Chess Championship - by July 11,

at World Youth Chess Championship - by July 31.


In addition, the best "junior year" player in each section gets the right to be the official player at Pan American Scholastic Chess Championship in Lima, Peru, November 3 - 7, 2010:

Unfortunately, we don't have much information about this event at the moment.
