Hello all,
Labour weekend is just around the corner, and as always Bryan Lamb will be hosting Toronto's most prestigious annual event, at the Macedonian Community Hall.
Where: Macedonian Community Hall - 76 Overlea Blvd, Toronto
When: September 5th, 6th, 7th
Round Times: 11am & 5:30pm Saturday, 10am & 4:30pm Sunday & Monday
Time Control: 40/2, SD/1
Style: 6 Round Swiss in 5 Sections: OPEN (w/ U2300 -- FIDE-rated), U2200, U2000, U1800, U1600 (w/ U1400 & UNR)
Prizes: $7,000 based on 150 non-amateur entries
1st Place Open Section: $1,000 guaranteed!
Register in advance and save $10, pay in advance and save an additional $5!
Bryan Lamb will also organize and TD Toronto's Thanksgiving Tournament in October, at the same location in the same format/style.
Any participant who commits to playing in both events may save $5 more per tournament.
