Thank you Pierre. What do you hope to achieve in this position during the year ahead?

At least all of the following,

synchronize the Women Zonal rules with the FIDE rules, especially the tiebreaks in order to avoid the repetition of incidents such as this year CYCC tiebreak fiasco in which, a tiebreak has been used that is clearly labelled as illegal in the 2016 FIDE Arbiters' manual (This tiebreak criterion is not in effect at the moment and cannot be applied),

translate in French the Handbook section under my responsibility,
attempt to increase the norm possibility for Women by making rules for non-Zonal Women Canadian Chess Championship,
as a distant goal initiate a Canadian Women team championship,

Not directly related to my position, translate the Laws of Chess and the FIDE Swiss rules. This has already been done, but cannot be published before the 2017 FIDE Arbiters' has been released because the content of the grey boxes may have changed.

Thank you Pierre!

Your goals are ambitious. Selfishly speaking I think the top priority is to ensure that we have a Women's Zonal championship in the first half of 2018. Do you think you can do that?

Thank you Pierre!

I think the top priority should be to ensure that we hold a Women's Zonal in the first half of 2018. Can you do that?

I know this is "wrong" on a certain level, but I think the only chance to have a CWC with enough players that placement titles/norms are possible is if it's in the GTA.
