Here are the results of voting on this meeting's motions. Governors should note that motions I and J are constitutional motions requiring a 2/3 super-majority plus quorum requirements (the quorum requirements have been met).

Please note that the President has reversed his original ruling that 2012-K is a constitutional motion BUT then cast the tie breaking vote as a NO, thus motion 2012-K still fails.

Full details of how everyone voted are in the following thread:

2012-G Class Certificates Amending Motion 28 Yes, 1 No, 1 Abstention - PASSES

* 2012-I CFC Member Rights Motion #1 17 Yes, 11 No, 5 Abstentions - FAILS

* 2012-J CFC Member Rights Motion #2 4 Yes, 24 No, 5 Abstentions - FAILS

2012-K Canadian Junior Chess Championship 15 Yes, 15 No, 3 Abstentions - FAILS
(Tie broken by President by changing his abstention to a No - thus making it 15-16-2)

2012-M Governor Participation Motion 26 Yes, 3 No, 2 Abstentions - PASSES

2012-N Rating Formula Motion 29 Yes, 1 No, 1 Abstention - PASSES

2012-O Rating of Junior Events 6 Yes, 23 No, 3 Abstentions - FAILS

2012-P CFC Quick Chess Rating System 18 Yes, 10 No, 4 Abstentions - PASSES

Agenda Item 19 has now been opened for Governors to post items for inclusion in the April meeting's agenda.

Thank you to all of you for your participation in this meeting's votes
