Governors - please sign in to the meeting by choosing one of the voting options (which one doesn't matter - the software won't let us have a poll with only one option!)

My special greetings to all of you particularly first time attendees.

For the benefit of newcomers, this is how you announce your presence to the meeting. Have a good one!

Hi Lyle

At the moment, for me the poll indicates 2 No votes showing, but I am not allowed to vote in it.

[edit: it's fixed now. I have voted in the poll]

I'm Present for the Meeting.

??? How can that be? The software has it so that if you're authorized to post you're allowed to cast a vote.

Chris any ideas on this one?

I'm here but I can't vote either

Also judging by who has signed in already, the poll may be set to only allow the exec to vote.

Should be fixed now.

I didn't spell it out but I hope it's obvious to everybody that the questions asked at sign-on are asked only because the software doesn't let us have only one option and that no policy decisions are being based on it! ;)

Folks, there is no need to announce yourself in the thread so long as you "vote" in the poll - anyone who says yes to either option is counted as present.

In case you've missed it Lyle, as I write these words I believe Paul Leblanc announced himself in this thread, but didn't yet vote in the poll, as he may have announced himself at the time that the poll wasn't yet working properly.

Yup - I spotted that and it is a source of annoyance to me - not directed at Paul but that we had initial problems with the sign-in poll last time too.

I thought I had everything perfect this time but noooooo......

Lyle, in the future we may want to just close this sign-in thread to ensure that people vote rather than post.
