Just to clarify:

Is there only one section?
Is the tournament CFC and FIDE rated? (I do not understand "CFC & FIDE ratings accepted" vs "All ages and experience levels welcome" - if all all levels, who cares about rating?)

"standard time controls (Game/90 min.)"
Next time skip "standard time controls", as I remember at Bayview the standard time was 2h/40+1h :)

Good luck with/in the tournament.

Hi Egis:

1. Only one section - so apply right away; spaces are disappearing.
2. If someone has only a FIDE rating, it will be accepted on par with CFC ratings.
3. It will only be CFC Rated.
4. All experience levels was meant to say that " unrateds " were welcome.
5. Most players like to have a tournament CFC-rated.
6. Standard time controls was meant to mean that the time control is " regular " ( eg. not "active " ), approximates the new FIDE time control, and will be rated as a standard tournament by the CFC.
7. The " Bayview " tournament you refer to was one run by Vlad Dobrich or Liam Henry. This is a new organizer, Toronto expert Oscar Villalobos.
8. I'll pass on your encouragement for the tournament to Oscar - thanks. And thanks for the good luck to me in the tournament.

One correction to the original information on location : the address of the CMA office where the tournament will be held is 1650 Bayview Ave. ( not 1685 as stated originally - the original post has now been edited to correct it ). Sorry for the error.:(
